Our September meeting will be at ReRico Brazilian Grill on the 13th. We’ve had good turnouts there in the past, so lets do it again! 5:15pm. $10 for food and cash bar. Payment for dinner will be made direct to ReRico. Desserts are $10 additional.

It’s BBQ time again! We’ll be holding our annual BBQ again at Jim Quesenberry’s place, Corporate Business Systems, on East Cherry on June 14. Proceeds go to the scholarship fund for local construction students.

This might not be news, but it was news to me. It seems that with a direct link, anyone, even people who don’t have Facebook accounts can now see GOBSA’s Facebook page. Its directly accessible from the website via the Facebook icon just below the GOBSA logo in the upper right of this page.
This spring’s golf tournament photos are online now on the photos page and on the Facebook page.
They say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results. Here’s an occasion where we want the same results. The May 10 meeting will be at ReRico Brazilian Grill again. The March meeting there was a big success, so lets do it again! 5:15pm. $10 for food and cash bar. And to avoid a bit of confusion from last time, payment should be made direct to ReRico and the dessert cart is not included in the $10 fee.

We’ve received word that Hidden Valley Golf Course has had some flooding problems which may require the April 29 golf tournament date to get pushed back if we get more rain. Apparently they don’t have amphibious golf carts. If you’re signed up to play, please get in touch with Keith Upchurch at Team Tools for status updates.
Update 4/28: Golf on Friday 4/29 is a go. The water has receded and the course is ready.

As mentioned in GOBSA’s previous post, we’re wanting to mix up the meeting locations, so this month’s meeting will be March 8th at ReRico Brazilian Grille. Time is per the usual, 5:15 through whenever. There will be no speaker, just dinner with friends and colleagues. $10 for appetizers and cash bar drink specials.
